Sunset Pavilion

The Sunset Pavilion is located in the water on the northeast side of the lake near Donghu’s Changtian Tower. It is named after the line “Sunset clouds fly wing to wing with a lonely duck” from Wang Bo’s Tang Dynasty “Preface to the Tengwang Pavilion.” The structure is built with steel-reinforced concrete to resemble wood. Its base is boat-shaped, oriented north-south, with slightly upturned ends, about 12 meters wide and over 60 meters long.

A pavilion is built atop it, consisting of two stories. The ground floor is connected to a T-shaped corridor at both the front and back, featuring a nine-ridged, four-sloped roof.
