The Tomb of Zhang Sen is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

Tomb of Zhang Sen

Located in Zhuodaoquan, Wuchang District, Wuhan. Zhang Sen (1887–1928) joined the revolution during the Xinhai Revolution period, was a renowned general of the Northern Expeditionary Army, and later passed away due to overwork. He was one of the highest-ranking generals to die during the Northern Expedition. (Fourth Batch)

Zhang Sen (1941– ) is from Bozhou City. He served successively as secretary and deputy political instructor of the public security battalions in Huainan City and Lu’an Prefecture, the independent battalion of the Lu’an Military Sub-district, and the battalion in Hefei; as political commissar of the Hefei Zhongshi People’s Armed Forces Department; and as director of the political department of the Fuyang and Lu’an Military Sub-districts. In 1988, he was awarded the military rank of Senior Colonel. In 1992, he became political commissar and Party committee secretary of the Wuhu Military Sub-district, member of the Party committee of the Anhui Provincial Military District, and member of the Standing Committee of the Wuhu Municipal Committee of the CPC. In 1989 and 1991, he was respectively recognized by the Anhui Provincial Military District as an Outstanding Party Worker and an Outstanding Party Member.
