Guanguan Cave Cluster

Guanguan Cave Cluster is located in Guanguan Village, Sangshuya Management District, Chengguan Town, Yun County. The cluster consists of forty-eight caves of varying sizes, among which there are three main caves. These three caves are arranged in an oblique triangle, each featuring uniquely exquisite and distinctive scenery. The middle cave is relatively shallow, but it houses a strikingly lifelike nude statue of Guanyin, which is why locals collectively refer to the three caves as Guanyin Cave. The left cave contains numerous stalactites, with notable attractions including “Two Dragons Playing with a Pearl,” “Drunk Stone Ox,” and “Guanyin’s Dressing Table.”

The right cave is spacious and bright, featuring three main halls totaling approximately 2,500 square meters. The three halls are respectively themed as the “World of Flowers,” the “Realm of Water-Rust Stones,” and “Guanyin’s Bedroom,” showcasing a variety of water-rust stone patterns, oddly shaped animal figures, and Guanyin’s resting bed. The sights are captivating and overwhelming to the eye.
