The Site of the Rongmei Tusi City is a cultural tourism attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

：The Site of the Rongmei Tusi City is located on Pingshanzhai, more than 10 kilometers east of Rongmei Town in Hefeng County. It was built during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, and currently features remnants such as the main hall, secondary hall, military review platform, horse racing field, garden, and earthen prison. On the cliff west of the city lies a cave where Tusi Tian Shunian stored his books. The nearby artillery platform and stone inscriptions are still clearly visible today. Inside the cave, the flower stand and fish pond remain. The content of the Rongmei Tusi site is rich but rather scattered, including relics such as the Pingshan Juefu Site, Xiliucheng, Wanren Cave, Qingtian Cave, and Jiufeng Reading Platform, among which the Pingshan Juefu is the most significant. The Pingshan Juefu Site, commonly known as Wanquan Cave, is situated atop the steep cliffs of Pingshan, overlooking a hundred-foot-deep abyss. The cave is about 20 meters high, 24 meters wide, and 31 meters deep. Due to its strategic location, the Rongmei Tusi named it Wanquan Cave (Cave of Perfect Safety). The cave originally housed a stone gate, fortress walls, and an artillery platform. To the left was the “Moon Embracing Pavilion,” to the right the “Sun Loving Pavilion,” and at the center were the “Great Mercy Pavilion” and “Weibo Tower,” which served as the residence of Tian Shunian. The Qing literati Gu Cai once visited this cave. Today, remnants of some wall foundations, artillery platforms, and cliff inscriptions can still be found inside the cave. At the mountaintop stands a turtle-shaped stele that recounts the history of the Tusi constructing Pingshan and Wanquan Cave. In the 13th year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1735), the last Tusi king, Tian Mingru, hanged himself in Wanquan Cave under pressure from the Qing court’s policy of replacing native chieftainships with direct governance, thus bringing an end to over 400 years of Rongmei Tusi history.

Transportation: Take a bus from Enshi Qingjiang Hotel to Hefeng (40 yuan), then transfer to a local bus to reach Rongmei Town.
