Longlin Palace is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.

The Longlin Palace Scenic Area is located in the western suburbs of Enshi City, Hubei Province, eight kilometers from the prefectural capital. National Highway Enshi-Lichuan runs through the area, providing very convenient transportation. Centered around a natural cave at the water source of the Gaoqiao Reservoir, the scenic area offers a comprehensive water conservancy tourist destination including cave sightseeing, Tujia ethnic song and dance performances, ethnic culture displays, water recreation, catering, accommodation, and conference reception.

Major attractions in the scenic area include: Cave Exploration: The entire cave system combines an exit cave, a labyrinthine cave, and a dry cave, divided into water and land sections, featuring over 200 scenic spots along the way. The karst cave twists and turns with bizarre formations. Among them, the water cave spans 500 meters, passing through miniature "Three Gorges," with lofty caverns and deep underground rivers. The dry cave features mountains within caves, caves within caves, interconnected passages, stalagmites densely lining the interior, stunning views at every step, splashing springs, and misty clouds that create a majestic atmosphere. Viewing the Dragon Mouth Waterfall: The waterfall at the cave entrance cascades down with thunderous roars, shaking the valley in a spectacular display, resembling thousands of snowflakes sweeping across the cliffs. Ethnic Culture Museum: Visitors can listen to Tujia songs, watch Miao mountain dances, taste Tujia homemade liquor, enjoy the tea ceremony of mountain villages, even role-play as a Tujia "son-in-law," sing bridal lament songs, perform the hand-waving dance, and play the meat-rod percussion... Clear River Rafting: Drift down the rapids in a rubber raft through five gorges and past forty dangerous shoals. Towering cliffs and exotic rocks line both riverbanks, with waterfalls and springs everywhere. The mysterious hanging coffins of the Ba people and the traditional paper-making scenes of local mountain folk accompany the stirring boatmen’s chants, immersing guests in a thrilling, wild, and mystical experience. Longtan Lake Scenic Area: The lake features winding, delicate waters with clear, deep surfaces. Gentle slopes and dense forests line both shores, while the mountains are covered year-round with blooming flowers—peach and plum blossoms greeting the spring drizzle, azaleas painting the hills red in summer, wild chrysanthemums braving the flying snow in autumn, and wintersweet defying the frost in winter.
