Wangcheng Zoo

Wangcheng Zoo is located within Wangcheng Park and houses over a hundred species of wild animals, with more than 1,300 individuals kept in enclosures or roaming freely. It is one of the country’s key breeding bases for South China tigers, making them the park’s biggest highlight. Other animals include black bears, leopards, Siberian tigers, red-crowned cranes, brown bears, giraffes, chimpanzees, mandrills, and African lions.

Wangcheng Park is situated on the north side of Zhongzhou Road in Luoyang City, spanning both banks of the Jian River, with a jade-like arched bridge connecting the two sides. The Wangcheng Zoo is located on the west bank of the Jian River.
