Chaoyang Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Mengjin County. In 1958, Baihe Commune was established; in 1984, it was restructured as a township; and in 1995, it became a town. Located in the northeastern part of the county, it borders Mangshan Mountain to the south and the Yellow River to the north, covering an area of 69.1 square kilometers with a population of 41,000. Since ancient times, a ferry crossing (津) has been located here, which gradually developed into a key transportation route across the Yellow River. The Jiaozhi Railway passes through the town, and the Luoyang–Baihe and Mengxian–Baihe highways crisscross the area.
