Guanyuan Park

The green space of Qingnian Palace was formerly Guanyuan Park. In 1994, the Beijing Municipal Government approved the construction of Qingnian Palace on the western part, while the eastern part retained its original green space nature. In 2000, a large-scale renovation and upgrade was carried out on the preserved green area, demolishing temporary structures such as sheds covering 300 square meters and expanding the green space.

The green space was redesigned by Guoan Landscaping Design Company, with added lawns, adjusted plant arrangements, squares, pathways, and other recreational and fitness facilities to enhance the landscape effect. The municipal team of Xicheng District Landscape and Municipal Administration Bureau and the Dewai Greening Team were respectively responsible for the pavement of pathways and the greening construction.
