Langfang Natural Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Introduction to Langfang Natural Park

Located in the northwest corner of the city, it stretches 3,000 meters from east to west and 3,000 meters from north to south, forming an irregular belt shape. The total planned area is 1,500 mu, with existing woodland covering 1,040 mu. The forest coverage rate exceeds 90%, and the canopy closure is 0.8. The forest is home to tens of thousands of wild birds of about 40 species. The natural park is primarily composed of pristine forest, complemented by various scenic spots. Among them, the newly excavated artificial lake covers an area of 100 mu. In addition, eight major landscapes — “Crystal Palace Embracing Spring,” “Spring Blossoms in Bloom,” “Curved Pond with Lotus Fragrance,” “Golden Leaves Painting Autumn,” “Green Fields for Fishing,” “Parrot World,” “Golden Beach for Water Play,” and “Wooden Cabins” — have been successively under construction. In 2002, to enhance the recreational functions of the natural park, a western expansion of 1,350 mu was planned, and the project has now entered the phase of building perimeter walls. Aside from the original orchards, nearly 10,000 trees have been planted in the vacant land and farmland within the expanded area. With its naturally wild yet artfully designed landscapes, the natural park attracts visitors from all directions and serves as an ideal destination for leisure and emotional enrichment during holidays.
