Langfang Museum is a patriotic education base.

Langfang Museum is located in the beautifully landscaped Municipal Cultural and Art Center. Construction began on March 20, 2004, and it officially opened to the public on December 31, 2005. The museum covers an area of 10,000 square meters, with a building area of 7,600 square meters. It has three main floors and parts of a fourth floor. It was designed and constructed entirely in accordance with national standards for museum architecture, with an investment of 37 million yuan. The exterior design of the museum is solemn and elegant, concise yet generous, blending harmoniously with the beautiful surroundings of the Municipal Art Center and maintaining a unified style with the adjacent library and the soon-to-be-built Grand Theater. Inside, the museum houses four permanent exhibition halls and two temporary ones. In addition, there are various auxiliary facilities such as an academic lecture hall, leisure areas, and VIP rooms.

Langfang Museum is a comprehensive museum and serves as the main institution for collecting cultural relics, art and cultural objects, and specimens in Langfang, as well as for public education and scientific research. Its collection spans artifacts from ancient times to the modern era.

The exhibits in the museum are based on historical relics, documents, historical materials, and research findings from the region, focusing on showcasing the development trajectory of Langfang’s history and culture. The two exhibition halls on the third floor present the Boxer Rebellion in the Langfang area, highlighting the Battle of Langfang; the two on the second floor display the general history of Langfang; and the two on the first floor currently host the “Langfang Socioeconomic Development Achievements Exhibition.”

Langfang Museum is a window to showcase the history and culture of Langfang, a base for patriotic education for young people, and a hub for cultural and artistic exchanges across the city.
