Introduction: Wenming Temple Pagoda is located in the southeastern corner of Xuchang City. Built in the 24th year of the Wanli reign during the Ming Dynasty, its spire was repaired multiple times during the Qing Dynasty. The pagoda stands 52 meters tall, has an octagonal floor plan, and is a 13-story brick tower in the pavilion style. It is majestic and towers into the clouds. The walls of the pagoda feature windows and doors. Originally, the interior housed a thousand-armed, thousand-eyed Buddha statue from Esoteric Buddhism, but it no longer exists. The upper levels enshrine either the White-Robed Bodhisattva or the God of Literature (Wenchang Dijun). This pagoda boasts elegant design and a rigorously structured form, making it the finest brick pagoda from the Ming Dynasty in Henan Province. Inside, there is a spiral staircase that allows visitors to climb to the top and enjoy panoramic views of the entire city.
