The peak summer vacation travel season has arrived, and many families plan trips during this period. To protect the rights and interests of travelers, the Tourism Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has, in accordance with Article 43 of the Development of Tourism Act, published the operational status of the travel industry from January 18, 108 (2019) to June 27, 108 (2019), and provided a list of travel agencies that require attention and should be avoided. This serves as a reference for travelers to prevent travel product and itinerary disputes that may affect—and even harm—their rights and interests.

The Tourism Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has announced the following operational statuses of travel agencies between January 18, 108 (2019) and June 27, 108 (2019), in accordance with Article 43 of the Development of Tourism Act:
I. Revocation of Travel Agency Licenses6agencies

2. Asia Travel International (Taipei City)
3. Jing Ling (Taipei City)
4. Today’s Wonder International (Taoyuan City)
5. HP Premium (Taichung City)
6. Zhushan Jian’an (Nantou County)

Travelers encountering emergencies abroad may also seek assistance from the “Overseas Emergency Assistance Contact Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Global Toll-Free Hotline 800-0885-0885).”
