The Zhang Pan Wang Family Courtyard is a Xuchang Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Zhang Pan Wang Family Courtyard is located in Zhang’er Village, Zhangpan Town, Jian’an District, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

On June 19, 2009, the Zhang Pan Wang Family Courtyard was designated as part of the third batch of Xuchang Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Protected Area: It extends 10 meters outward from the outer wall of the eastern courtyard to the east, from the southern wall of the rear building of the courtyard to the south, from the outer wall of the western courtyard to the west, and from the northern wall of the living room to the north.

Zhangpan Town: Zhangpan Town is situated in the southeastern part of Xuchang County. It borders Linying County to the south, neighbors Yanling County to the east, adjoins Wunv’dian Town to the north, and lies adjacent to Jiangguanchi Town to the west. The town government is 14 kilometers away from the county seat. Provincial Highway S237 runs east–west across the entire town, while Zhangwu Highway stretches north–south. The Dayu–Nanyang Expressway traverses the area from the northeast to the southwest, and the Xufu Expressway is currently under construction, providing extremely convenient transportation. The distribution of rivers is even, water resources are abundant, and irrigation conditions are favorable.
