Xincheng Subdistrict: Xincheng Subdistrict in Shanyang District was established through the complete restructuring of the former En Village Township. It is situated in the southeastern part of Jiaozuo’s urban center and lies at the heart of the city’s southern expansion and eastern development. Covering a total area of 25 square kilometers, it administers 3 communities and 9 administrative villages. The Shanyang Han City Site, renowned for its historical significance in Jiaozuo, is located in the eastern part of the subdistrict, while Longyuan Lake — the largest artificial lake in the province — is situated in the western part.
