Zhuolu Guanyin Temple

Zhuolu Guanyin Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province.

Zhuolu Guanyin Temple is located at Beiguan in Zhuolu County. Originally built during the Ming Dynasty, it underwent multiple repairs and expansions in the Qing Dynasty. It once had 136 rooms, but due to historical reasons, it was damaged several times. Currently, there remain two courtyards with 48 rooms. The east annex courtyard features a hip-and-gable roof scripture depository, a three-room Ancestral Master Hall, and 13 auxiliary rooms. The west courtyard is a complete quadrangle courtyard, which is largely well-preserved. The scripture depository in the east courtyard is small yet exquisite, with a unique architectural style.

In February 2001, it was designated as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit by the People’s Government of Hebei Province.
