The Museum of Local Historical Materials in Southwestern Henan is a national AA-level tourist attraction.
The Museum of Local Historical Materials in Southwestern Henan is located on County Government Street in Neixiang County, about 400 meters from the Neixiang County Government Office. It was completed and opened to the public in April 2003. The museum covers an area of 9,800 square meters and consists of a main exhibition hall and two side exhibition halls (east and west). The halls display over 160 various photographs and 130 historical artifacts (including authentic items as well as spoils captured from the Japanese army) and a set of wax figures. From both time and space perspectives, it objectively and truthfully presents the emergence, development, and decline of the autonomous period during the 1930s.
