Yunlin’s Linnei Hides Many Scenic Spots – A Romantic Quest for Bald Cypresses

Yunlin County’s Linnei Township boasts many romantic hidden spots. The bald cypress trail in the Farmland Water Conservancy Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall park area, and the evergreen podocarpus avenue along Sanxing Road, offer diverse sceneries and moods throughout the seasons. To showcase the beauty of Linnei, the township office will hold the “Spring Fun in Linnei FUN Song Trip” event this weekend on the 20th and 21st, inviting visitors to experience the scenic wonders firsthand.

On the morning of the 15th, the Linnei Township Office enthusiastically announced this exciting news. In front of the Farmland Water Conservancy Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall, visitors can see the red-leaf-strewn bald cypress trail. Stepping out of the park and along Sanxing Road, they’ll find two rows of majestic, uniquely shaped podocarpus trees. Further into Tianzhong, there are seas of cosmos flowers where butterflies flutter, which transform into dazzling light corridors at night.

Linnei Township Council Chairman Hsu Lin-yu-chin pointed out that the scenery in Linnei constantly changes, making it well worth a visit to immerse oneself in the most romantic atmosphere and capture beautiful memories with a camera.

Visitors from across the country are invited to the Linnei Farmland Water Conservancy Exhibition Hall and its surrounding roads to admire and photograph this year’s key tourist attractions: the romantic bald cypress trail, the podocarpus nighttime light corridor, the colorful cosmos flower sea, and mysterious photo spots for check-ins... and more. Chang Wei-cheng noted that the “Spring Fun in Linnei FUN Song Trip” event will officially kick off on January 20th. In addition to the bald cypresses and podocarpus trees, the surrounding area will also feature 4 to 5 hectares of blooming cosmos flowers during the event. Everyone is invited to visit the Linnei Farmland Water Conservancy Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall park area to view various water conservancy facilities, admire the bald cypresses, podocarpus trees, flower seas, and enjoy live music.

Additionally, there will be forest concerts, parent-child sketching and coloring competitions, podocarpus-themed challenge and voting activities, and the exchange of exquisite souvenirs.
