The Anguli Grassland Resort is built around Anguli Nao, the largest plateau inland lake in North China. The grassland spans 230,000 mu, and the water area covers 100,000 mu. “Anguli” means wild goose in Mongolian, and “Nao” refers to a place with water. Historically known as Yuanyangluo, this place boasts lush grass and beautiful waters, where wild geese and geese dwell, making it a dazzling jewel on the grassland. Since the Liao Dynasty, it has been a favored imperial hunting and summer retreat destination.

This resort is currently one of the largest and highest-grade grassland tourist destinations in the country. It features the second-largest yurt in China, a complex of European-style villas, grassland log cabins, Qing-style courtyard houses, and a Mongolian cultural handicraft exhibition hall.
