Qianyangpo Site

The Qianyangpo Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Hebei Province.

The Qianyangpo Site is located on the gentle slope of Qianyangpo in front of Alamiao Mountain, approximately 3,500 meters southeast of Liangmianjing Village, Liangmianjing Township, Zhangbei County. The northeastern side is covered with grassy slopes, the northwest side borders a gully, the southwest side extends to the base of the slope, and the southeast side is farmland. A deep northwest-southeast oriented gully passes through the northeast side of the site and exits from the southeast side, while another northwest-southeast oriented gully cuts into the northeast corner of the site and extends southeastward, with the two gullies running parallel. The site covers an area of approximately 33,060 square meters. The surface contains a small number of Neolithic stone cores, blades, and other artifacts, belonging respectively to the Yangshao Culture and Longshan Culture. It provides valuable material for studying the distribution, regional types, and cultural lineage of Neolithic settlement sites in the Bashang region.

In July 1993, it was designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage protection unit by the People's Government of Hebei Province.
