Lanying Reservoir Scenic Area: Located in the jurisdiction of Jinguang Subdistrict in the northwest of Nanyang City, it is 6 kilometers from the city center, with a total storage capacity of 12.46 million cubic meters, a normal water level of 144.45 meters, and a corresponding water surface area of 1.5 square kilometers. The water surface is expansive, the water quality is clean, and the environment is beautiful. Major scenic areas include the Leisure Park area—featuring fishing ponds, an animal viewing garden, a gym, and a small library; the Water Sightseeing area—with a boating zone, fishing platforms, a large water amusement park, and water-based dining and entertainment venues; and the Related Service area—comprising holiday hotels, parking lots, shopping areas, and leisure villas. Greening projects have been implemented in the reservoir area and below the dam, covering a green space of 44,000 square meters, with an annual visitor count of 53,000.

Jinguang Subdistrict: The office of Jinguang Subdistrict is located at No. 78 Qilin Road, Wolong District, Henan Province. In 1961, the Jinguang People's Commune was established; in 1965, it was renamed the Midie People's Commune; in 1968, a section of the subdistrict was incorporated into the Hongqi People's Commune; in 1975, it was again corrected to the Jinguang People's Commune; at the end of December 1985, it was changed to the Jinguang Township People's Government.
