Nantun Site

The Nantun Site is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Nantun Site is located 1,000 meters east of the residential area in Group 4, Nantun Village, Yingzhuang Town. It is commonly known as "Wapiantai" and features a terrain that is higher in the east and lower in the west. To the north lies the Laohegou, while the Yingzhuang to Zhangqiyings Highway runs through the middle of the site. The width of the site is approximately 300 meters on the north side of the highway and about 250 meters on the south side. The eastern edge borders the western side of the road leading to Liyuan Highway, and the western edge extends to the central part of Nantun Village, covering an area of about 300,000–400,000 m². The surface is scattered with a large number of bricks and tiles (such as tubular tiles and flat tiles) from the Han Dynasty. Cultural layers can be clearly observed on the exposed cliffs, with a thickness of about 1–2 meters. The accumulation is relatively rich. Artifacts found include basins, jars, and others.

Nantun Village: Nantun Village is located in the northeastern part of Yingzhuang Town, about 2 kilometers from the town government seat. It administers 4 natural villages, 10 villager groups, has a population of 2,700, and cultivates 2,680 mu of farmland.

In recent years, the Party branch and village committee of Nantun Village have firmly established the concept of scientific development. Based on the village’s advantages, they have actively pursued a path of suburban specialty agriculture. They have built one pollution-free scallion production base with a scallion cultivation area of 1,700 mu. In line with the actual development of the industry, they have also established a scallion planting association and formed a Party branch within the association.
