To the east of Zhengyang Park in Zhengyang County lies the Zhengyang Ancient Buddha Cultural Park. Although it was built not long ago, its fame has already spread far and wide. Multiple media outlets from Taiwan have come to do special reports on it, making the Zhengyang Ancient Buddha Cultural Park quite well-known on the island. On the mainland, the Zhengyang Ancient Buddha Cultural Park is also becoming a place many people aspire to visit, as it houses an ancient Buddha statue from the Ming Dynasty — a symbol of friendly exchanges between the mainland and Taiwan. It is also the first cross-strait exchange base in Zhumadian.
