The Site of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Provincial Soviet Government is a cultural relic protection unit of Henan Province, a classic red tourism destination, and a patriotic education base.

The Site of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Provincial Soviet Government is located at No. 56 Shengchan Street in Xin County. The original site covered an area of 1,400 square meters, featuring 40 brick-and-wooden structures built in the architectural style of southern Henan during the late Qing Dynasty. Due to factors such as war, some of the buildings have been damaged. Today, only the front seven rooms and parts of the second and third rows remain, totaling 18 rooms, covering an area of 680 square meters. The site faces Shengchan Street to the east, with its main gate located in the center of the front row. In 1988, it was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit by the State Council.

In July 1931, the Second Congress of Workers, Peasants, and Soldiers of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Border Region was held in Xinji, where the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Provincial Soviet Government was established. Gao Jingting, the Chairman of the Provincial Government, had his office here. The government included the People's Committee, Finance and Economics Committee, Culture and Education Committee, Red Army Support Committee, as well as departments such as the Secretariat, Affairs Office, Reception Office, Women’s Department, Mail and Dispatch Section, and Communications Section. With the exception of the Finance and Economics Committee, all units were based at this site. Following the establishment of the people's democratic government, the cultural, educational, economic, industrial, and agricultural sectors in the Hubei-Henan-Anhui border region experienced unprecedented development.
