Xihé Ancient Village

Xihé Ancient Village is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The ancient dwellings of Xihé are located in Xihé Dawan, Xihé Village, Zhouhe Township, Xin County, Xinyang, Henan. They are part of Xin County’s key “Heroes’ Dream · Xin County Dream” development plan and were selected as one of the 11 Chinese Landscape Villages in the 14th edition of the national list. The village is built along the river, embraced by mountains and water. With green hills behind and the Xihé River winding around it, Xihé Village is a classic example of a feng shui treasure land with mountains at its back and water in front. Moreover, the village is shaded by lush trees in front of and behind houses, and several century-old trees stand by the water at the entrance, casting reflections on the surface. The architectural style is typical, and the range of building types is fairly comprehensive.
