Dingli Bay Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Dingli Bay Scenic Area is located in Dingli Bay, Shenliuqiao Village, Balifan Town, Xin County, Xinyang City, Henan Province. With a history of over 700 years, it is said that the area was named after a family surnamed Ding who were adopted by a childless family surnamed Li. Their descendants settled here, giving the place its name. The village flourished during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, gained fame in the Daoguang era, and even during the Republican era, there was a saying: “One circle around Xinji City is not as good as one bay of Dingli.” There are currently 11 rows of houses with over 600 rooms in total. The entire complex stretches over 700 meters in length and 50 meters in width, with three sets per row. Each set features a main hall with three rooms, along with a reception hall, rear hall, left wing room, and right wing room, all integrated under a single gatehouse. In 2012, it was designated as a National Traditional Village and a “China Landscape Village.”
