Getian Cultural Park

This attraction includes the Tomb of Getianshi and the ruins of Gecheng City. The Tomb of Getianshi was built in an unknown period, yet the tomb remains standing to this day. According to preliminary investigations by cultural relics authorities, there are Song Dynasty memorial archways and fragmented stone tablets buried underground at the site. The Gecheng ruins are a provincial-level cultural heritage protection unit. Gecheng served as the capital of the ancient Ge State during the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties. Experts have determined that beneath the ruins there are also two magnificent ancient city sites stacked upon one another, with the ancient Gecheng dating back over 4,000 years. A popular local saying goes: “Fine wine from Zhanggong comes from Ningling, vast pear orchards stretch scene upon scene. The old capital of the Music City features layered cities, the ancient city in eastern Henan holds deep history.”
