The Ruins of Qingliang City are located 14 kilometers southeast of the county town, connected to the southwest with Qingliangcheng Village. The site is approximately 400 meters in both length and width. A large number of pottery fragments are scattered on the ground, including vessels such as pots, jars, basins, and urns. In the second year of the Yuanshuo era of the Han Dynasty (127 BC), Emperor Wu of Han enfeoffed Liu Chaoping, son of King Jing of Zhongshan, as Marquis of Jiangliang, establishing the Jiangliang Marquisate and building Jiangliang City. It was later said that Han general Wang Liang stationed his troops here to escape the summer heat, hence the name Qingliang City (Cooling City).
