Highlights - The park connects to the Bird Exhibition Hall atop Fengshan Mountain to the north and links with the snow-like Yutan Beach of Changshan Tail to the south. It’s a pristine land that encompasses mountains, forests, seas, beaches, reefs, cliffs, and caves, rich in scenic diversity.

- Park, located at the southern tip of South Changshan Island, about 3 kilometers from the county town. Here, rolling mountains stretch as far as the eye can see, with thousands of acres of swaying pine waves – lush green and wave-like emerald – famed for its fresh air and high negative oxygen ion content. Approved by the Ministry of Forestry in 1992 as the main part of the Changdao National Forest Park, it is now officially open to the public. The vast seascape of offshore pastures presents ever-changing views, delighting the heart and mind. Here you can not only watch the sunrise and sunset, but may also be lucky enough to witness the rare mirage spectacle.

Transportation

Getting to the Island

To reach Changdao, you must first go to Penglai. Take a passenger ferry from Penglai Port to the island. Ferry service at Penglai Port runs from 6:00 to 18:30, with departures approximately every 20–30 minutes. The one-way fare is 30 RMB per person, and round-trip is 60 RMB per person.

Intra-island Transportation

Chartered Car: Although taxis are available on the island, chartering a car offers better value for money when traveling between various scenic spots.

Bicycle: Many local fishermen’s homes rent out bicycles. If you're not in a rush, you can rent one from them.

Admission

The full access ticket to the Changdao Scenic Area is 180 RMB (valid for three days), including Jiuzhangya, Half Moon Bay, Wangfu Reef, Fairyland Source, Fengshan, and Forest Sea Park.

North Route Pass 120 RMB (valid for two days), including Jiuzhangya, Crescent Bay, and Wangfu Reef.

South Route Pass 120 RMB (valid for two days), including Forest Sea Park, Fengshan Park, and Fairyland Source.

If you purchase a combined ticket for Fengshan Park and Forest Sea Park, the price is 50 RMB per person.
