Following its September expansion, the renowned American chocolate brand COMPARTES has made its first-ever debut in a Japanese outlet, and Tokyo’s famously queued-up pancake spot Eggs 'n Things has also opened a branch here. The range of offerings—including international luxury brands, fashion, lifestyle goods, and dining—has become more advanced and diverse, with a total of 302 stores that will have you walking—and shopping—till you drop.

Mitsui Outlet Park Jazz Dream Nagashima was comprehensively upgraded and expanded on September 25, 2017, becoming the largest outlet in Japan in terms of both retail space and number of stores. The number of shops increased from approximately 240 to 302, and the retail area now spans an impressive 45,700 square meters. The mall’s architecture is photogenic both day and night. You’ll find all the internationally renowned brands, popular Japanese boutiques, sportswear labels, and lifestyle goods you can think of—all available at outlet prices.

The outlet also caters to the needs of international travelers, with credit card acceptance throughout the complex, currency exchange machines, and free Wi-Fi. There’s also a rest lounge where you can take a break and recharge before diving back into shopping.

Among the new additions, the renowned American chocolate brand COMPARTES has made its first appearance in a Japanese outlet. With its super stylish and exquisitely packaged chocolates, it’s sure to win over every girl’s heart. In addition, fashion brand Henry Cotton's, Italian luxury bag brand Orobianco, the well-known watch boutique HOUR PASSION, and the iconic British brand “MACKINTOSH” along with its family brand Traditional Weatherwear—both operating together as MACKINTOSH / Traditional Weatherwear—are also making their first outlet appearances here in Japan.

The wildly popular French crêpe shop “gelato pique cafe creperie,” known for its adult-style desserts, has opened a branch in the outlet. You’ll find yourself naturally lining up. Flavors range from sweet to savory, and all are delicious. Originating from Hawaii, Eggs 'n Things caused a sensation in Japan after opening its first store in Harajuku. The must-order strawberry shortcake arrives with a generous topping of whipped cream—visually stunning. Cut off a piece of the shortcake and pair it with the not-too-sweet whipped cream and strawberries, and with the first bite, you’ll feel instantly comforted, forgetting all about your tired feet from shopping.

In addition to the shortcake, the shop’s Hawaiian specialty Ahi Poke—a mix of tuna cubes, seaweed, cucumber, and other ingredients tossed with soy sauce and a few drops of lemon juice—is refreshing and appetizing, and also highly recommended as a must-try dish.
