Pearl Gate Ruins

The Pearl Gate Ruins are a Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Pearl Gate Ruins, located in Jiuzhangya Park on Beichangshan Island, Changdao County, Yantai City, Shandong Province, are among the cultural heritage sites protected at the provincial level in the People's Republic of China. On December 7, 2006, they were designated as a Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit. This is an ancient site dating back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties.

Jiuzhangya belongs to Changdao County, Yantai, Shandong, and is situated at the northwest corner of Beichangshan Island. It borders the Pearl Gate Channel to the west and the international shipping route of the Changshan Channel to the north. It is the most famous scenic spot on Changdao and features typical marine erosion landforms.
