A large-scale winter event in the north—The Happy Valley Park Polar Penguin Ice and Snow Carnival officially kicks off at Beijing’s Happy Valley Park. The “2nd Happy Valley Park Polar Penguin Ice and Snow Carnival” welcomes guests at the South Lake of the park, covering an area of 30,000 square meters. At this ice and snow carnival, you’ll find great spots for playing in the snow, family-friendly zones, and large outdoor snow attractions. This year’s carnival spans four major holidays—New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, and Lantern Festival—and places greater emphasis on sports and fitness-oriented leisure activities. Polar Science Corridor:

Through exhibition boards, physical objects, booklets, and more, visitors can learn about ice and snow knowledge, polar science, and low-carbon living tips. Discover the colorful life and majestic natural environment of the polar regions, understand the relationship between the poles and global climate change, and celebrate the spirit of scientists striving for excellence. Earth’s polar regions, ancient and vast, feature blue skies, clear waters, pristine ice, and white clouds. Here, snow and ice dominate the landscape. Yet even in these wild, frozen terrains, there is resilient life. The gentle and adorable polar animals continue to create miracles of survival, enduring harsh climatic conditions with remarkable endurance.

Snow Saucer Zone:

Suitable for all age groups, this zone features multiple snow saucer tracks where individuals or groups can participate together. It’s a very safe and highly entertaining activity. Riders sit in “saucers” and slide down the snowy slopes at a steady pace, experiencing the thrill of snow play firsthand.

Trick Snow Saucer Zone:

Snow tubing here offers a variety of fun and unique styles—wave-shaped, curved, and jump-style tracks. Experience different kinds of snow tubing thrills.

Snow Play Zone:
