The chestnut forests in Taiping Town are mainly distributed along both sides of the river embankment on the east bank of the Yi River, covering a total area of over 3,000 mu. From a distance, they appear layered and densely packed. When a gentle breeze blows, the tree shadows sway, their green foliage rustling gracefully. Coupled with the yellow sand, clear water, and grassy fields, the scenery is picturesque and truly enchanting.

Most of the chestnut trees in Taiping are over 50 years old, with the oldest being more than 130 years old.

They are very popular in the market and sell well both within and outside the province.
