Er Gong Park in Hedong District, Tianjin, is located next to Zhongshanmen Bridge on the Central Ring Road in Hedong District. Formerly known as the "Tianjin No. 2 Workers' Cultural Palace," it was renamed "Er Gong Park" after renovation and refurbishment. The renovated Er Gong Park was opened to the public free of charge on July 7, 2009. The newly refurbished park features spacious flower beds on both sides and in the center of the front plaza, filled with a variety of colorful flowers. The previously murky Lishui Lake has been transformed into a crystal-clear body of water, with steps built along the shore. The nearby JinGong Gymnasium and JinGong Tennis Center have also been freshly painted. The various functional areas have been reorganized and divided into several zones, including a thematic plaza, urban green space, leisure and entertainment area, children’s activity area, fitness area, and water area. The boat dock has been rebuilt, and large-scale ecological green landscapes have been arranged on both the northern and southern sides, while activity areas are concentrated in the central part.

The new "Model Workers' Garden" has been relocated from the front plaza to the picturesque lakeside east of the theater, covering an area of 1,150 square meters. After the completion of the soil elevation projects on Red Leaf Island and Peach Blossom Island in Er Gong Park, a large number of red leaf toon saplings have been planted on Red Leaf Island. Citizens can now enjoy beautiful red foliage without having to travel to Beijing's Fragrant Hills, and the nostalgic experience of boating on Er Gong Lake has also become a reality once again.

The park is lush with green trees and thriving branches, and the lake water is clear and jade-like, creating a delightful scenery. The grand three-story "Worker"-shaped theater building, covering an area of 7,142 square meters, stands majestically and can accommodate 1,140 spectators for movies and performances, with a multifunctional hall on the third floor. The 2,800-square-meter teaching building integrates education for the elderly, adults, and young children. The park’s staff fitness corridor is equipped with over a hundred types of fitness equipment, along with complete facilities for basketball, badminton, and table tennis, providing entertainment and leisure for workers and the public. The park also features smaller themed gardens such as the "Little Garden," "Fitness Garden," "Amusement Garden," and "Dream Garden." The amusement park offers a variety of rides loved by teenagers and children, including the sliding dragon, wind rider, mini train, bumper cars, era chariots, and spinning planes. There are also pedal boats and other water amusement activities on the lake. The "Beile Maze" is the largest in North China, and the "Dream Sandy Beach" is self-designed and built—both are especially popular with children and their parents.
