The Yimeng Red Film and Television Base is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Yimeng Red Film and Television (Party Spirit Education) Base is located in Changshan Village, Mamuchi Township, and was invested and developed by Shandong Yimeng Red Film and Television Base Tourism Development Company, with planning and design commissioned to the Shandong Provincial Tourism Planning and Design Institute. The base consists of four parts: the "Hong Sao Memorial Hall", the "Ancient Mountain Village", the "Ancient County Town", and the "Mountain Village Dream Resort", covering an area of 1,129 mu, with a total investment of 260 million yuan. It is currently a national AAA-level tourist area and is planned to be upgraded to a AAAA-level attraction within two years. Phase one has seen an investment of 18 million yuan to construct the "Hong Sao Memorial Hall", using simple rural scenes and large-scale group sculptures to recreate historical scenes such as Hong Sao nursing wounded soldiers with her breast milk, the Yimeng Mother raising revolutionary children, thousands of carts heading south, sisters making military shoes, grinding military grain, baking pancakes, mending military uniforms, sending husbands off to war, and sending sons to the front lines. At the same time, 12 million yuan was invested in the protective restoration of the "Ancient Mountain Village", renovating and reconstructing film-specific sites including watchtowers, stages, ancient roads, city gates, walls, old temples, and courtyards. Phase two began with an investment of 68 million yuan to build a fully equipped "Ancient County Town" spanning 128 mu. An additional 50 million yuan was invested to create the "Mountain Village Dream Resort", integrating water scene filming, tourism, and accommodations and services for film crews and tourists. Phase three plans to invest 120 million yuan to expand the "Yimeng Mother" Wang HuanYu Memorial Hall and the former residence of "Red Sao prototype" Ming DeYing, while also constructing a Generals Memorial Hall.

Currently, the scenic area continues to receive film crews while under construction. Nearly thirty films and TV series have been shot here, including "Yimeng", "The Yimeng Six Sisters", "The True Heroes of -", "Tunnel Heroes", "Mother", "Bullfighting", and "Guoer Man Shan Hong". Renowned actors such as Siqin Gaowa, Chen Xiaoyi, Song Chunli, Ma Shaohua, Chi Peng, and Yan Ni have all performed here, while many young talents have made their breakthroughs, including Huang Bo—who starred in "Bullfighting" and won the Best Actor award at the 46th Golden Horse Awards. The base has become a cradle for cinematic talent and a launching pad for stars, as well as a sacred destination for red education experiences, green wellness retreats, and sightseeing holidays.
