The Ancient City of the Xiang State is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Ancient City of the Xiang State is located in Wang (Xu, Zhuang) Jia Tan Jingzi Village, Dadian Town, Junan County. It dates back to the Zhou and Han dynasties. In 2013, it was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People’s Government of Shandong Province.

Dadian Town: Dadian Town is located 19 kilometers north of Junan County, bordering Rizhao City to the north and adjacent to the scenic Maji Mountain Tianhu Scenic Area to the east. It covers a total area of 128.9 square kilometers, governs 71 administrative villages, has a population of 72,000, and includes 70,000 mu of arable land. The area features a temperate monsoon climate with semi-humid continental characteristics. The Lujiao-A Road intersects here, and it lies 5 kilometers from the Rizhao–Dongying Expressway, 18 kilometers from the Yanzhou–Shijiusuo Railway, 40 kilometers from Linyi Airport, and 40 kilometers from Shijiu Port.
