The Bianhe River Wetland Park Scenic Area in Junan County adopts the working concept of "using reclaimed water to nourish the wetland and the wetland to purify water." It primarily uses reclaimed water treated by the sewage plant as its main water source. By incorporating the four key elements of "river, pathway, mound, and forest," the park features multiple layers of natural cascading waterfalls to adjust the vertical elevation differences of the site. Leveraging the natural gravitational slope, it creates a naturally flowing wetland water system, which—after undergoing plant-based purification in subsurface flow wetlands—flows naturally from east to west. This connects the first and second phases of the New District Sewage Treatment Plant, the advanced reclaimed water treatment project, the sludge disposal project, and the Renhetang point-source sewage treatment project into an integrated ecological whole. It has established a landscape where "one waterway strings together five parks and one line links multiple points." The wetland resources are sustainably utilized, the water system is ecologically friendly, and harmonious development between humans and nature is achieved.
