The featured tourism village of Sunjia has vigorously developed the green and pollution-free Zhanhua winter jujube industry. It has built a 1,200-acre science and technology production-tourism demonstration park that integrates technical training, eco-agriculture, and sightseeing. The park is planted with 28,000 Zhanhua winter jujube trees, and the green, pollution-free Zhanhua winter jujubes produced here are highly favored by consumers, attracting tourists from all over the country to visit the orchard and pick the fruit. Since 2007, the village has started developing winter jujube tourism, investing a total of 600,000 yuan in tourism facilities and farmhouse guesthouses. It has developed a Zhanhua winter jujube tourism project integrating orchard picking, folk customs, and agritainment, creating a distinctive winter jujube industry base featuring “green production – local sales – orchard picking – technology promotion – cultural dissemination.” The village is striving to boost income through tourism, with its external visibility and tourism standards continuously improving.
