Zhanhua Yiyuan Ecological Wetland Tourist Area

Zhanhua Yiyuan Ecological Wetland Tourist Area is a National AAA-level Tourist Attraction.

Zhanhua Yiyuan Ecological Wetland Tourist Area is located at the west end of Qingfeng First Road, Chengbei Industrial Park, Zhanhua District, Binzhou City. Since its opening in May 2014, it has successively been awarded the titles of National AAA-level Tourist Attraction, Shandong Provincial Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site, Shandong Provincial Self-Drive Tourism Demonstration Site, Binzhou Municipal Livestock Tourism Demonstration Site, and Binzhou Municipal Science Education Base. The main attractions of the site include "One Core and Five Zones": the core refers to the Visitor Information Service Center, while the five zones consist of the Featured Aquaculture Demonstration Zone, Water Amusement Zone, Adventure Entertainment Zone, Leisure Fishing Zone, and Ecological Wetland Experience Zone. The Visitor Information Service Center covers an area of 1,800 square meters, the Featured Aquaculture Demonstration Zone spans 140 mu, the Water Amusement Zone covers 200 mu, the Adventure Entertainment Zone occupies 10 mu, the Leisure Fishing Zone spans 300 mu, and the Ecological Wetland Experience Zone covers 250 mu. To facilitate visitor activities, 5,000 meters of roads have been paved and repaired, with warning, directional, and prohibition signs installed along the routes. Protective measures such as fences have been set up along the edges of ditches and ponds, all designed in harmony with the scenic layout to create a “touring in a painting” experience. A total of 6,000 trees including ash, locust, hibiscus, elm, and various flowers have been planted, using a mix of trees, shrubs, and blossoms to beautify the area and improve the environment, offering a pleasant and comfortable leisure and entertainment setting. A parking lot covering 500 square meters has been constructed, located to the west of the Leisure and Entertainment Service Center, along with two sightseeing electric shuttle buses.
