Huing Lake
Situated 3 kilometers south of Ningjin County and west of Ningde Road, Huing Lake in Ningjin boasts convenient transportation, picturesque scenery, and a pleasant climate. The lush surroundings complement the wide, serene waters that are crystal clear. With a light breeze creating sparkling ripples on the surface, it stands as a beautiful landmark in Ningjin. The lake not only ensures drinking water supply for the whole county but also forms a scenic body of water.
Constructed in March 2005 with an investment of 130 million yuan, Huing Lake draws its water from the Yellow River. Covering an area of 2,500 mu, it has a water surface of 2,100 mu, a storage depth of 7.5 meters, and a total capacity of 10 million cubic meters, supplying 30,000 cubic meters of water per day. The completion of Huing Lake has significantly improved Ningjin County’s water resources, ecological environment, and investment climate.
