Situated on both sides of Zhengyang Road and the main highway connecting road in Ningjin County, the Kangning Lake Acrobatics Culture Theme Park in Ningjin County is the largest leisure and sightseeing park and landmark project in the county, integrating functions such as tourism, leisure, entertainment, acrobatics culture, and food culture. The total area is 1,106 acres, including 550 acres of water bodies, 481 acres of green space, and 75 acres of ancient architecture and paved areas.

The theme sculpture "Leap" draws inspiration from the meaning of "a carp jumping over the dragon gate," symbolizing the rapid development and forward momentum of Ningjin.

The four landscape pillars in the shape of paper-cuttings in the Acrobatics Culture Square reflect the unique acrobatics culture of Ningjin. Ningjin acrobatics, with a long and rich history, is renowned as the "hometown of acrobatics." The art form is simple yet bold, combining strength and grace, and highlights the five artistic features of "thrill, danger, wonder, beauty, and novelty." It holds high aesthetic, ornamental, and cultural value, and is recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. Acrobatic arts such as contortion flower-biting, lantern rolling, pole climbing, and foot juggling are vividly depicted on the landscape pillars through Ningjin’s paper-cutting art. Ningjin paper-cutting boasts a history of over a thousand years. Over time, it has developed its own distinctive style, becoming a shining jewel in the treasure trove of Chinese folk paper-cutting art. Utilizing a combination of positive and negative space, as well as monochrome, multi-color, and spot-color techniques, it seamlessly integrates local customs, birds and beasts, landscapes, and scenic spots with modern life, historical events, and mythological tales to create patterns rich in meaning and delightful in detail. Capturing a myriad of scenes within a small space, the art conveys deep emotion and beauty, leaving a lasting impression and offering viewers an aesthetic delight.

Divided according to the varying scenery of the four seasons, the Kangning Lake Acrobatics Culture Theme Park in Ningjin County consists of four scenic areas: "Spring Island," "Summer Pool," "Autumn Dyke," and "Winter Leap." The park features 192 varieties of plants, designed and upgraded to high greening standards with large specimens, ensuring fruit in two seasons, flowers in three, and greenery all year round. The plant varieties largely cover most tree species in northern China, making it a botanical repository of the north.

A large musical fountain is located in the center of the scenic area, where jets of water dance to the music. Among them, the "Fairyland Jade Pillar" can reach a height of 100 meters, creating a spectacular sight.

The ancient Wenchang Pavilion, five stories high, was reconstructed on the site of the original Confucian temple built in the eighth year of the Daoguang reign. With a construction area of 1,700 square meters, it is the park’s landmark. The pavilion enshrines deities such as Wenchang Dijun (God of Literature), Kui Xing (God of Examinations), the God of Literary Wealth, the God of Martial Wealth, the Three Aunties of Mount Tai, the God of Vehicles, and the Matchmaker. Wenchang Pavilion is not only an important tourist attraction at Kangning Lake but also a significant site for worshippers to pray, burn incense, seek wealth, fertility, and peace.

The scenic area also offers electric boats, pedal boats, and other watercraft for visitors to use. Lush grass stretches along both shores, and willows sway gracefully by the lake. Colorful boats glide slowly across the rippling waters of Kangning Lake, occasionally passing under an old-fashioned wooden arched bridge or through variously shaped fountains that send up sprays of water. From the boats, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of scenic spots such as "A Carp Jumping Over the Dragon Gate" and Wenchang Pavilion, immersing themselves in the charm of the surroundings.

Additionally, the Kangning Lake Acrobatics Culture Theme Park in Ningjin County provides various amusement facilities, shopping outlets, and dining venues for visitors to enjoy activities, shopping, and meals. The scenic area also regularly hosts events such as food culture exhibitions, leisure fitness and wellness activities, and recreational fishing.

Self-Driving Guide:

Binzhou-Dezhou Expressway — Exit at Ningjin on the Binzhou-Dezhou Expressway — Go straight along Zhengyang Road for about 6.5 kilometers, then turn right — Kangning Lake Acrobatics Culture Theme Park. It takes approximately 12 minutes by car after exiting the expressway.
