The Modern Architectural Complex on Jinan's Weier Road is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Modern Architectural Complex on Jinan's Weier Road consists of nine national heritage sites: the former site of the Shandong Postal Administration, the former site of the Deutsch-Asiatische Bank, the former site of the Bank of Communications, the former site of the Minsheng Bank, the former site of the German Consulate, the former site of the German Clinic, the former site of Xiaoguanghan Cinema, the former office-residential building of the Shandong Postal Administration, and the former site of the Jinan Branch of the Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank. Built between 1901 and 1932, these buildings are important landmarks in Jinan’s commercial port area and hold significant value for the study of Chinese architectural history and commercial port culture.

In May 2013, the State Council (State Council Document [2013] No. 13) designated the Modern Architectural Complex on Jinan's Weier Road as part of the seventh group of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
