The Site of the Founding Meeting of the Jinan Local Committee of the Socialist Youth League is a cultural relic protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Site of the Founding Meeting of the Jinan Local Committee of the Socialist Youth League is located within the campus of Dongyu Ying Middle School at Jingqi Road and Weiyi Road in Jinan City, specifically in the west building of the school. It was announced as part of the second batch of key cultural relics protection units in Shandong Province in 1992. In August 1922, in order to establish and lead the Jinan local organization of the Chinese Socialist Youth League, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China sent Chen Weiren to Shandong to guide the work, recruiting over ten members. On September 16 of the same year, Chen Weiren, Wang Jinmei, and nine others held the founding meeting of the Shandong Local Committee of the Socialist Youth League (also known as the Jinan Local Committee) here. This marked the beginning of the League's organization in Shandong. On October 14, 1987, the Communist Youth League Shandong Provincial Committee erected a permanent marker at the site, known as the “Shandong Founding Site of the Youth League.”
