Jinan Wildlife World is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Jinan Wildlife World has a forest coverage rate of 92%, offering beautiful scenery, fresh air, and a pleasant environment. The scenic area is divided into two main parts: the northern section is the walking tour area, and the southern section is the safari tour area. The walking tour area features “themed” display zones, consisting of seven areas: Birdsong Valley, Elephant Territory, Eco Plaza, Treetop Kingdom, Leopard Path, Tiger Roar Valley, and Azure Dragon Impression. The safari tour area features “geographical habitat” display zones, consisting of five areas: African Savanna, Alpine Mountains, Australian Woodlands, Wild Zone, and Asian Grassland. By combining free-range and enclosed breeding methods, the park houses around 2,000 rare and protected animals of 120 species.

Jinan Wildlife World is located within the Paomaalingscenic area of the national forest park at the state-owned Liubu Forest Farm in the southern part of the city, 40 kilometers from downtown and at an average elevation of 700 meters.

The wildlife park opened on September 26, 1999, and is divided into six major areas: the walking sightseeing zone, forest leisure zone, herbivore zone, predator zone, comprehensive service zone, and animal breeding center. It is home to over 100 species and more than 2,000 animals, making it currently the largest and wildest forest wildlife kingdom in China, and also first-class in Asia. The park features over 100 attractions, including the Sea Lion Pavilion, Songbird Valley, Eco Wonder, Kangaroo Garden, Waterfowl Lake, and Crocodile Bay. The park also includes high-standard facilities such as the Yunding Restaurant, entertainment complex, parking lot, fast food outlets, and gift shops, integrating animal education, garden art, and leisure entertainment.

The walking sightseeing area is surrounded by mountains and water, with a mix of pine and maple trees, and combines natural wonders, Monkey Valley, Peacock Garden, Australian Emu Park, Crocodile Bay, Waterfowl Lake, and the Unique Stone Forest.

The Herbivore Zone is the largest free-range area in Jinan Wildlife World. With dense forests, lush grass, and varied terrain featuring steep and gentle slopes connected to mountain basins, the 2.56 million square meter area is home to dozens of rare wild herbivores from 13 countries and regions across five continents, including antelope, camel, yak, takin, rhinoceros, wild ass, giraffe, zebra, ostrich, sika deer, elk, white-lipped deer, and white-bellied deer, creating a unique ecological landscape.

The Predator Zone is home to fierce carnivores. Among them, the “king of beasts” — the tiger — includes several subspecies such as the Siberian tiger and Bengal tiger (including white tigers, snow tigers, and golden tigers), with the golden tiger being particularly rare. Lions from Africa, seemingly gentle but incredibly powerful black bears and brown bears, the sprinting champion cheetah, as well as wolves and foxes, have formed their own families and groups. The Animal Breeding Center employs nationally renowned experts with extensive experience in wildlife breeding, has acquired a large amount of advanced research equipment, and has established facilities such as an animal hospital, breeding rooms, reproduction research institute, and nursery. Through meticulous, scientific, and rigorous work, it provides comprehensive health care for many wild animals.

① Departs from the South Station of the Long-Distance Bus Terminal, passing through the East Station of the Railway Station, Daming Lake North Gate, Honglou Square, and the East Bus Station to reach the New Jinan Wildlife World. ② Departs from Jinan West Railway Station, passing through the Fifth Municipal Hospital, Sports Center, Yanshan Overpass, and Xincun Overpass to reach the New Jinan Wildlife World.

Self-Driving Guide:

① Drive east along Jingshi Road to the intersection of Jingshi East Road and Bucun Road (east of the E-zhuang Bridge on the Xiuyuan River in Zhangqiu), then head south for seven kilometers to reach the park.

② Exit at the Bucun Toll Station of the Jilai Expressway (southern section of Jiqing Expressway), then drive north for 2.4 kilometers to reach the park.
