Niuyi Village Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park is located 4 kilometers north of Zhangqiu City and 10 kilometers from the Jiqing Expressway. The park covers an area of over 1,500 acres and is divided into four major functional zones: vegetable cultivation, fruit and forest picking, leisure sightseeing, and technical training. It is an urban agriculture demonstration park that integrates leisure, experience, sightseeing, and picking.

The park has built 42 solar greenhouses, including a 50-acre tea plantation, an 80-acre honeysuckle garden, and 220 acres of fruit trees such as kiwi, blueberry, blackberry, and walnut, creating a distinctive feature of “evergreen all year round, blooming flowers in three seasons, unique scenery in each zone, and harvest available throughout the year.” A man-made lake covering 45,000 square meters has been constructed, along with over 10,000 ornamental and greening saplings, enriching the park’s tourism functions. The park’s infrastructure has also been improved with hardened framework roads, newly installed transformers, two deep wells, underground pipelines, solar street lights, as well as cold storage facilities and processing workshops.

Niuyi organic vegetables are known for being green, natural, pollution-free, and highly nutritious, and are especially famous for being “crisp, tender, and delicious — truly top-grade produce.” To further ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products, the park has established a comprehensive agricultural product quality monitoring system and built Jinan’s first township-level agricultural product testing center. A production traceability system is implemented, documenting every stage from seedling to harvest and sale. “Niuyi” organic vegetables have been awarded Jinan’s “Top Ten Agricultural Product Brands” and “Zhangqiu City’s Famous and High-Quality Agricultural Products.” Phrases like “Eat Niuyi vegetables, enjoy a healthy life” and “Niuyi vegetables — truly awesome!” have become popular sayings among consumers. Currently, ten vegetable products, including Moonlight No.1 Celery and Golden Chinese Cabbage, have successfully obtained organic and pollution-free vegetable certifications from the National Ministry of Agriculture’s “Three Products” Certification Center.
