Lotus Mountain Shengshui Chan Temple is a national AA-level tourist attraction and a cultural tourism destination.

The Lotus Mountain Shengshui Chan Temple scenic area is located in Duozhuang Town, Zhangqiu District, connected to the northern peaks of Mount Tai, spanning over 20 square li. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and adjacent to the beautiful Haishan Lake to the east, the area features towering pines and cypresses, lush vegetation, stunning natural scenery, and numerous historical sites. It embodies both the serene mystique of an ancient mountain temple and the majestic grandeur that seems to pierce the clouds. The site includes attractions such as the Heavenly King Hall, Mahavira Hall, Guanyin Hall, Ksitigarbha Hall, and a pagoda forest. There are also rare tree species like Chinese honey locust, blue sandalwood, and kalopanax. The area boasts murmuring springs, lush forests, and ancient temples, making it a rare and exceptional religious tourism destination. The mountain gate of Lotus Mountain Shengshui Chan Temple features soaring upturned eaves and majestic architecture, with four pillars and three gates, resplendent in gold and color. Standing 20 meters high and 30 meters wide, it is built in the style of the Ming and Qing dynasties. At its center hangs a golden plaque inscribed with the words “Lotus Paradise,” written by Master Yicheng, former president of the Buddhist Association of China. In front of the gate stand two massive stone lions, tall and imposing. On the right cliff, there is a cliff carving of a large "Buddha" character, five meters high, vigorous and powerful, with a grand and imposing presence that reaches into the clouds.

The front of the Heavenly King Hall features a statue of Maitreya Buddha, while the back enshrines the guardian deity Skanda. On either side are the Four Heavenly Kings, all cast in bronze with golden finish, each holding a sword, umbrella, pipa, or serpent, symbolizing abundant harvests and peace under heaven. Passing through the Heavenly King Hall and ascending 29 steps leads to the Mahavira Hall. The hall has a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof, colorful bracket sets, and a painted red lattice star gate. At the center of the hall stands a statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, flanked by Medicine Buddha on the left and Amitabha Buddha on the right, all cast in bronze and gilded, with solemn and dignified expressions. Along the side walls are eighteen arhats, each with unique and lifelike expressions. The east side hall of the Mahavira Hall is the Guanyin Hall, with a statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva in the center, and Manjushri and Samantabhadra on either side. The west side hall is the Ksitigarbha Hall, featuring murals depicting stories from the Ksitigarbha Sutra.
