Xinglong Cultural Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Yanzhou’s “Xinglong Cultural Park” is a large-scale cultural tourism destination based on Buddhist cultural resources, integrating famous temples, pagodas, performances, immersive experiences, and leisure activities. It is a key construction project in Shandong Province and a priority cultural industry park.

The park uses modern approaches to promote traditional Chinese culture. Centered around the core concept of “Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism,” it features themed projects such as modern Buddhist worship, interactive Buddhist cultural experiences, and exhibitions of traditional Chinese culture and arts for spiritual cultivation and leisure. The entire park is divided into three functional zones—West, East, and South—each serving distinct purposes: “cultural relic display and Buddhist worship,” “interactive experiences and performances,” and “resort leisure and meditation retreats.” The West Zone “Buddhist Worship Center” includes the 118-meter-tall Lingguang Treasure Hall, the Serenity Garden, the Guanyin Garden, Xinglong Pagoda, and Xinglong Temple; the East Zone “Experience Center” features an 80,000-square-meter indoor Buddhist cultural theme park offering interactive experiences that guide visitors “from human to Buddha,” along with the outdoor “Bodhi Theater” where the live performance “Journey to the East of Bodhi” is staged; the South Zone “Meditation Center” offers a tranquil wetland landscape for peaceful meditation and leisure experiences.

Xinglong Cultural Park will become China’s first theme tourist destination to offer an “ultimate experience” of Buddhist culture. Visiting Mount Tai for enlightenment, Qufu to pay homage to Confucius, and Yanzhou for Buddhist worship will form Shandong Province’s new golden tourism route of “Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism.”
