The Japanese Army Fortress from the Invasion of China in Yanzhou is located in Jiuxianqiao Subdistrict, Yanzhou District, Jining City, and dates back to 1938.

On June 23, 2015, the Japanese Army Fortress from the Invasion of China in Yanzhou was designated by the People's Government of Shandong Province as part of the fifth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Shandong Province.

Jiuxianqiao Subdistrict: Jiuxianqiao Subdistrict in Yanzhou City was established in June 2008. It is located in the eastern part of Yanzhou City and has three rivers within its jurisdiction: the Si River, the Xiao Yi River, and the Fu River, covering an area of 11.3 square kilometers. In 2012, it governed 13 administrative villages and 6 communities. By the end of 2013, the total population of the subdistrict was 32,899, including 21,285 permanent urban residents, with an urbanization rate of 65%.
