The Wang Family Ancient Residence is a cultural heritage site protected by Yanzhou District.

The Wang Family Ancient Residence is located in Minzu Community, Gulou Subdistrict Office, Yanzhou District. It is a typical northern-style quadrangle courtyard building. The north room is a two-story attic, while the other three rooms are single-story buildings. Constructed during the Qing Dynasty, the north attic has two floors, spans three bays, measures 10.1 meters in length and 6.5 meters in width, and features a brick-and-wood structure with a flush gable roof. The walls are made of brick, and the doors and windows are wooden, as are the floors, grilles, and stairs. Originally, there was a central door in the back wall of the central bay on the north side, which is now sealed off. It is understood that the original courtyard has been reconstructed in a modern architectural style, and only the south courtyard remains. Apart from the relatively well-preserved two-story attic, the other three rooms, though retaining an antique feel, have largely undergone structural alterations. The original owner of this courtyard was surnamed Zhang. After the liberation, it was taken over by the Housing Bureau and is now confirmed to be owned by the Wang family. In October 2009, it was approved by the Yanzhou Municipal People's Government and announced as part of the third batch of Yanzhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units.
