Guangjie Site

The Guangjie Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

The Guangjie Site is located to the north of Guangjie Village in Xinyan Town, covering an area of approximately 20,000 square meters with a cultural deposit about 2.5 meters thick. Collected Longshan culture pottery includes black clay pottery, sand-tempered gray pottery, and sand-tempered red pottery, featuring decorative patterns such as string patterns and nipple motifs. Artifact types include gui, ding, jars, and bowls, all in relatively good condition. This site is considered a cultural relic from the Longshan and Shang-Zhou periods. It was designated as a Jining Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit in March 2001. According to the Yanzheng Fa [2009] No. 28 document, the protected area is defined with the marker stele as the center point, extending 100 meters in all directions. The construction control zone extends 50 meters outward from the boundary of the protected area.
