The site of the former Quanye Market is a protected cultural heritage site in Beijing.
The site of the former Quanye Market is located
on Langfang Toutiao near Qianmen and is listed as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Beijing.
The building was the first large-scale comprehensive commercial structure in modern Beijing. It has three floors above ground and one underground, built with a reinforced concrete and masonry structure. Internally, it features three large halls along the depth of the building, surrounded by three-story corridors with open-style shops and luxurious interior decorations. The street-facing façade is in the Baroque style, with a Western-style columned portal at the main entrance. The second and third floors are decorated with pilasters, window surrounds, and balconies, and the roof edge is topped with a parapet.
